Service Line Management: The Next Generation
March 12 – 13, 2016 – Chicago, IL
August 1 – 2, 2016 – New York, NY
During the past several years, service lines have become a permanent fixture in hospitals and healthcare systems; however, many organizations question how a service line strategy will fit in the future, given the health reform mandates of greater accountability for quality, cost and access. Should we continue to invest in service lines? If so, how do we adapt to the anticipated market changes? This interactive seminar will focus on the next generation of service lines, specifically on the need to evolve and allow service line leaders greater responsibility and authority to influence organizational change. Participants will delve into examples of service line models, including dyad or triad leadership and system structures, and gain a clear understanding of the evolving roles and responsibilities of service line leaders and the crucial skill-sets needed to succeed.
